NSP 60: How Can I Shine

This comic is based on events that are close enough to real life to be considered a true story. In reality though, Pagz took one look at my creation and crafted me something that my mom actually liked. And oh she liked WAY BETTER than that other card she received. At least, that’s what she told me before winking in a vaudevillian manner at everyone else in the room. They all had a good chuckle about something, but I clearly came out on top.

LOL Nature, part 2:

In this week’s LOL Nature segment, we examine that sweetest of underwater predators the Great White Shark (all caps when you say the man’s name). After dinosaurs, sharks are probably the animal that most of us thought were really really cool as kids (unless you’re one of those gross kids who was way into playing with and eating bugs). The great white is usually held in extra special regard since it’s one of the biggest, meanest and man-eatingest shark out there. Also, if it weren’t for Ghandi, a certain movie would have won the oscar for what it did to bring the terror of the great white into the popular psyche. So anyway, you have to ask yourself at some point, what happens if get a giant horde of great white sharks worked up into a feeding frenzy and then give them a huge dead whale to chow down on? Killer sharks vs. the all you can eat buffet of the sea!

More Sweet Games

This site is simply beautiful. It’s filled with bizarre and wonderful games to play with instructions in a language I can’t understand (japanese maybe?) and yet the games are completely playable and intuitive after only a few attempts to figure out what to do. Try out ‘Egg Way’ where you must crack open an egg and then guide the yolk as it falls through space into a waiting frying pan. If you break the yoke you lose. You use this sort of magic pen to create a path that the yoke rides along to make it to the pan. Or, as the instructions on the page state so elegantly: “mouse … draw the egg way
space key … restart”.

I also recommend the Cat Archery Golf game. You’re a cat a who has a bow and arrow and plays golf with it. Awesome.

There are a couple other great games on here. Well worth your time if you like this sort of thing.

Until next time, may the force be with you, bitches.

Nintendo Power tip for Cat Archery Golf: you can shoot again while flying through the air. Pulling back the bow to shoot again while in mid-air kills your forward momentum for some reason, which can be really useful for your next shot.

My best score: -33. Beat that, Weasel!

I had a lot of fun playing the cat-archery game for a while until I figured out that mid-air momentum killer. Now, with practice, you can sink every hole in 2 shots or less. Kind of ruined it for me.

The egg drawing one - it seems the line dissapears too fast and it’s a bit frustrating. But I have seen this guy’s website before and I’ve played some of his other games - fun stuff! (He came up with the classic Sand game, if anyone remembers that [it’s so last year]).

And also awesome poster and comic!

Anyone up for some psychotropic asteroids action? This game “Echoes” is very well done and is a blast to play. And free! But you have to download it :(

Complete Guide to Cat Care and Cat Training said,

Cats are usually lazy and would not exercise by themselves. They love to cat nap all day long. You need to set up a playtime and a play area. Keep Strings, ball, catnip items, or simple home made items that your cat will love. See that the items kept are without any sharp edges which might hurt your pet. This will help it get into a good habit of keeping itself occupied while you are busy with something else.
