MSW: Inspiration

Sometimes I’m busy drawing out a My Spazzy Wife comic, and up walks My Spazzy Wife and she’s all Spazzy on me! And then I have to start drawing a NEW comic, like this one! BEHOLD:

MSW: Inspiration
One of my few attempts at no-text-bubble cartooning!

Do you randomly switch handedness mid-comic-draw, too?

And is she holding a potato-clock?

Sometimes I use my left hand, yes. Usually only when I’m writing DEATH THREATS THOUGH.

Weasel told me it is better to post anything at all over nothing, which is where today was headed. So I shall post paint comics.

And also this one about my dad.

Esmerelda and I both have terrible cleavage in today’s post.

‘FOOM’ is a great sound effect.

I always want this to happen on the Food Network.

I see magazines splashing the 10th anniversary of Diana’s death like, everywhere.

These paint comics have been taking place in France a lot recently…

This website is the cat’s meow

I love Arbuckle.

I first heard about it a year or so ago and ever since I’ve been opening up the paper in earnest to read the latest in-my-head edited version.

I agree so much with what Pagz says (re: Calvin & Hobbes), I can’t add much else except ‘Same thing with Gary Larson/Far Side!’. So instead of continuing that line of conversation I’ll bring up another Garfield hilarity: The Garfield Randomizer. The website (no longer existant due to copyright threats) randomly pulled three panels from Garfield’s archive and displayed them. You could lock in a panel and re-randomize the other two if you wished. It was a blast.

Since you can’t see it anymore, here’s a link to a collection of strips people made with the random generator. There’s also a card version that I’m sure you could convert to garfield use. Now *that’s* a good card game!

No Comments! =( Put those fingers to the keys!
